Hosdo Privacy Policy
Hosdo collects only the information needed to review app submissions, answer contact requests, and keep the service reliable. Last updated May 5, 2026.
Information Hosdo collects
- Developer submissions: Google Play URL, optional app name, developer or company name, contact email, category, privacy policy URL, launch rationale, and private audit waitlist interest.
- Contact email: information you choose to send when reporting outdated metadata or requesting corrections.
- Operational data: API requests may appear in server, nginx, systemd, and hosting logs.
- Hosdo does not currently run public user review collection in the app UI.
How it is used
- To manually screen low-visibility Android apps.
- To contact developers about submissions, corrections, or private audit waitlist interest.
- To operate public app pages, spam controls, backups, and security monitoring.
What is public
- Curated app listings, editorial notes, and app metadata can be public.
- Developer submissions remain private until Hosdo manually accepts and publishes an app.
- Email addresses submitted through the developer form are not shown publicly by default.
Controls and retention
- Developers can request correction or deletion of submitted contact data.
- SQLite backups may retain deleted data for a limited operational recovery window.
- Hosdo does not make claims about analytics or cookies unless those tools are added and disclosed.

- Hosdo support remains available at [email protected].
- Akasoft is shown as the organization operating Hosdo; Hosdo contact data and support requests remain handled through Hosdo channels.
