Editorial policy
Human review stays separate from paid services.
Hosdo exists to help users discover trustworthy Android apps outside chart-driven browsing. Editorial choices are based on usefulness, clarity, and trust signals rather than developer payment.
Human review principles
- Each listed app needs a human-written reviewer note and visible reason for inclusion.
- Scores can change when listing metadata, permissions, maintenance, or product quality changes.
- Hosdo does not publish apps automatically from public submissions.
No APK hosting
- Hosdo does not host APK files or mirror app downloads.
- Install links point to official Google Play listings.
- Listings may be removed if official store access disappears or becomes misleading.
No ranking sales
- Developers cannot buy category rank, Hosdo score, app detail praise, or catalog placement.
- Paid audits are feedback services only and may be declined or waitlisted.
- Editorial review remains independent even when a developer is a paid audit customer.
Conflicts and corrections
- Hosdo should disclose paid audit customer status if that context ever becomes visible on public listing pages.
- Developers and users can request corrections for outdated metadata, broken links, or inaccurate reviewer context.
- Hosdo may remove listings that become unsafe, misleading, unavailable, or outside the directory scope.
Operator context
- Hosdo is operated by Akasoft, a software, AI, and digital product engineering company.
- Hosdo support remains available at [email protected].
- Akasoft is shown for ownership context, not as a separate Hosdo support channel.
